Since 1996, ALMACO has partnered with national governments, development partners, the private sector and non- governmental organisations to address health sector challenges that affect universal access to health. Weak national health and community systems constitute a key challenge to provision of quality health services. The national governments are allocating more resources to the sector to address declining health indicators in most developing countries and the need to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
ALMACO provides technical assistance in the areas of:
Grant Oversight and Management. Subcontracted by The Global Fund, Grant Management Solution (GMS) or Technical Facility for East Africa (TSF) ALMACO consultants were involved in consultancy assignment to strengthen grant oversight, grant and financial management, procurement and supply chain management and monitoring and reporting capacity to manage Global Fund grants in over 16 countries.
